Monica Kapoor
Monica Kapoor is an East Coast–based director, choreographer, educator, and Broadway performer. After performing for nearly a decade in Mamma Mia! and on the national tour of Bombay Dreams, she transitioned into directing and choreography, where she has developed work for Broadway Music Circus, North Carolina Theatre, Casa Mañana, Transcendence Theatre Company, Skylight Music Theatre, and Encore Musical Theatre Company, as well as collaborations with Frankie Grande and Broadway Bares.
Her work spans theatre, television, film, live events, and voiceover, with credits including Smash, Limitless, I Origins, The Today Show, and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. As an educator, Monica has served on the faculty of Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway. She holds a Master of Science in Education from Northern Illinois University.
Committed to fostering the next generation of artists, Monica brings a collaborative, story-driven approach to directing, choreography, and arts education. She is passionate about expanding opportunities for emerging artists and advancing authentic representation in the performing arts.
